Hello and welcome to this new Flight review.
Today I take you with me on a French domestic flight between Montpellier and Paris with Transavia. The purpose of this trip is to travel to Paris for the Paris Air Show 2023, where Flightreviews.net was present.
I'll be meeting you at Montpellier airport at a very early hour (05:30 AM), and take-off is scheduled for 06:45 AM.
The airport is still empty at this time of day.
Immediately, I go through security, which takes less than two minutes, before heading for the duty-free area upstairs.
This is the airport's duty-free shop, featuring regional products and French gastronomy.
After passing through duty-free, you find yourself in this large hall with plenty of seating, relaxation, and work areas. There are also large windows offering a bird's eye view of the tarmac and runway.
I then make my way to the departure lounge. Today, it will be gate 21!
My aircraft has arrived, as the sun continues to rise in the sky.
20 minutes before the scheduled take-off time, boarding begins.
The fuselage shot is, of course, made.
I crossed the entire aircraft to get to the second-to-last row, sitting in seat 31F.
I'm lucky today because my row will be completely free!
The mood lighting is activated as boarding ends.
We then taxi to runway 30R.
The engines revved up and the aircraft took off down the runway.
The aircraft is gradually gaining altitude.
We then fly over Nîmes (FNI) airport, which I recently passed through on a 737 MAX 8 flight with Ryanair.
A few minutes after take-off, passengers are allowed to detach.
The sun continues to rise.
The green airline is well represented!
After a short cruise, the aircraft begins its descent towards the capital.
In terms of onboard service, the crew went out of their way to offer drinks and snacks for purchase. Personally, I'll settle for a bottle of water bought at the airport. Outside, the ground is getting closer and closer.
The cabin is ready for landing.
We fly over an industrial zone, before putting our wheels down on the runway.
On the taxiway, we let this La Compagnie A321neo pass.
After a few minutes of taxiing, we reached our parking area.
We disembark immediately.
Being in a hurry to get to the Paris Air Show as quickly as possible, I won't be taking any more photos of Paris-Orly. Nevertheless, I'll be out of the airport in just a few minutes.
Montpellier (MPL): As usual, Montpellier airport does not disappoint. With its impeccable fluidity, well-appointed facilities, and faultless cleanliness, my visit to Montpellier was a very pleasant one.
Transavia: A good service for a reasonable price. The cabin is very pleasant, despite reduced legroom in the back. Punctuality is excellent, with an on-time arrival!
Paris (ORY): Excellent fluidity, with no luggage to retrieve. The exit signs are clear.
